DIET, Jhargram erstwhile Govt. PTTI, Paschim Medinipur is a co-educational institution. It is an eminent institute of the District, Jhargram , running two years D.El.Ed. Course and conduct in-service training for primary, upper primary & secondary teachers. It is also a nodal agency in the district level for imparting various educational projects, trainings etc in the district. To achieve Centre of excellence all faculties and staff are engaged in different activities. We believe the students achieve at higher level and beliefs in Credibility, Value, Effort, Efficacy and Belonging. Now, in the 2nd phase, DIET, Jhargram will be upgraded to Model DIET in West Bengal by the administrative control of SCERT, WB. DIETs play a crucial role in education system by enhancing the quality of education, providing teacher training, curriculum development, and improving educational outcomes at the district level. Model DIET enhance the professional competencies of teachers and teacher educators by providing training, research in the district. It will also be the hub for educational activities and ICT, which promotes research, innovations and best practices in teaching learning.
